Fashion Culture 2014 – Third Edition

III Edition of Fashion Culture Project will take place on the 14th of June 2014 at White House in London.

Both of the past two editions of Fashion Culture event proved a great success and the project has earned  a wide recognition within the European fashion industry. Since the beginning,  Fashion Culture has been supported by many influential representatives from the wide circles of art, culture and diplomacy, such as Prince Jan Zylinski and Republic of Poland Ambassador to the United Kingdom – Witold Sobkow.

Partners of the third edition of the project include:

University of the Arts – London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (UK) Beckman’s College of Design (Sweden), Polimoda (Italy) Flanders Fashion Institure (Belgium), ESMOD (Germany)  Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design  and Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design – SAPU (Poland).

Promotion of Art through Fashion

The creations of young European designers will be displayed within the framework of Europe’s rich culture and heritage.  As the designers have different views and backgrounds, the event will act as a body uniting young European designers through the culture of fashion whilst highlighting latest ideas and innovations and introducing some of the most cutting edge, avant- garde designs.

II edition Fasion Culture, Warsaw – final

Second edition of Fashion Culture took place in White House palace (Ealing, London)and  on the 6th of April 2013. : London College of Fashion,  Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (UK) Polish Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz , School of Art and Fashion Design Cracow and the International School of Costume and Fashion Design in Warsaw Poland) were among the participating colleges. Polish Paralympic Committee was an official partner of the event’  second edition. Overall twelve collections were shown during the event with Anka Leticia Walicka , who graduated from the School of Art and Fashion Design Cracow, winning the first prize.

Fashion Culture also appeared in the Polish capital of Warsaw on the 16th of May where the finalist presented their collections at the headquarters of ‘Wspolnota Polska’ organisation at the prestigious Krakowskie Przedmiescie.
